Its characteristic deep red color, often referred to as pigeon-blood red, is created by the presence of chromium and is among the most sought-after shades in the world. As hard as sapphire, it has since ancient times been not only a jewel of rulers but also part of scientific discoveries. On a spiritual level, ruby is perceived as the stone of the heart, vitality, and passion.
