Spring Joy

Close your eyes and imagine the moment when spring finally breaks the silence of winter. That first warm breeze, the first light that feels different from the winter one. This is exactly the moment I wanted to capture in this painting.

Dozens of butterflies in shades of pink, green, yellow, blue, and orange come together one by one to create before you the image of awakening spring. Each one carries a piece of light, a piece of warmth. At first glance, you see the whole. At the second, you begin to discover the individuals. Each butterfly is different, each carries its own combination of colors, and yet together they form one image, one story full of life.

The rows of butterflies are not a coincidence. They symbolize the rhythm of spring, that regular and reliable return of warmth and light that we can always count on.
No matter what happens, spring will come. Joy will come.
Again and again.

And then you notice that some butterflies have flown directly out of the painting. Like the first swallows, they announce that spring is here. They enter your space and bring with them the lightness carried by the whole painting. The boundary between the painting and your life does not really exist. The joy you see on the canvas belongs to you as well.

I would love for this painting to be a small daily reminder for you that beautiful moments return again and again, no matter what the weather is like outside.
