Stephen Hendry
(Born January 13, 1969, South Queensferry, Scotland)
One of the most successful players in the history of professional snooker in the 1990s.
Hendry started playing snooker in 1981, at the age of 12, when his father bought him a child-sized pool table as a Christmas gift. At 21, he won his first World Championship title. He went on to win 7 World Snooker Championship titles and led the world snooker rankings for eight consecutive years. He is the holder of many records.
